Pillar — Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully. By accessing or using Pillar, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

Who we are and what this agreement does

Pillar is a web application owned and operated by Ubuntu Design Life LLC. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Pillar platform at ubuntudesign.life, including:

  • The Pillar web application and any updates or supplements to it.
  • The services accessible through the application, including Ubuntu Design readings and the Ubuntu Guide (collectively, the "Services").

Purchases and subscriptions

Pillar offers both one-time purchases and subscription plans. Pricing and plan details are displayed within the application and on our website at ubuntudesign.life. By completing a purchase or subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees and to the terms associated with the plan you select.

Subscription plans renew automatically at the interval stated at the time of purchase unless cancelled before the next renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Your rights to use Pillar

In return for agreeing to these terms, you may:

  • Access and use Pillar for your personal, non-commercial use
  • Use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use
  • Receive updates and new features as we make them available during the period you hold an active account or subscription

Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights in Pillar and the Services belong to Ubuntu Design Life LLC or our licensors. Your Ubuntu Design reading is generated for your personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your reading for commercial purposes without our express written permission.

Limitation of liability

Ubuntu Design readings and Ubuntu Guide conversations are provided for self-reflection, personal growth, and understanding. They are not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for such matters. We are not liable for decisions you make based on your reading or any interaction with the Services.

Payments and refunds

One-time purchases are subject to our 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of purchase, contact hello@ubuntudesign.life for a full refund. Subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. If your account is terminated, any active subscription will be cancelled and no further charges will apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of Pillar after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
